**Farm Journal Entry: August 26, 2026**
We will never finish cleaning up the insanity in the greenhouse! The tomatoes have taken over everything.
The evening brought a nice breeze, Mindy and Nadaway had a girl’s night out at the winery and Tim stayed home to do… not much. The zero turn needs to have the mower blade tightened up, so it was once around the property and then parked. He is working on some homemade pastrami – we know why it costs so much now. Nadaway put a pork belly into the smoker too -we will finish that up in a day or so. All in all, it was a pretty nice evening. Tim spent a few minutes watching the sun set and the Moon come up over the field. It’s moments like those that remind me why we do what we do and live like we live.
